Full Time Duties:
Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information Assist with administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or dental receptionist role is preferred (over one year) Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction Proficiency in using dental or medical practice management systems (e.g., Softdent, Dolphin) Knowledge of dental administrative support systems and procedures Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in using computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (one year of experience) Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Fluent in Portuguese is a bonus Join our team as a Patient Services Representative and contribute to providing exceptional patient care in our Pediatric Dentistry office.
