34205 Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required) 2 year / Associate Degree (Preferred) Work Experience 1 - 2 years Experience in a Health-Related Field (Hospital or Physician's Office) (Required)Licenses and Certifications Required Certifications/Licensures:
CPAR certification or must be obtained within two years of employment Essential FunctionsPATIENT REGISTRATION
Provide the patient with efficient registration. Collect the patient's information to assist in a timely registration. Respond to customer concerns and serve as a role model for service and teamwork. Verify that prior authorizations and eligibility have been obtained. Identify all available insurance. Scan all documents into the hospital imaging system.TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT USE
Demonstrate technical skill in using equipment appropriate for role. Understand equipment operation. Maintain equipment in working order. Troubleshoot equipment problems. Use technology to increase productivity. Adapt to new technology. Additional Duties Adhere to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines. Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization. Perform other duties as required and complete all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs). Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time. Demonstrate competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
