Description:
Registers or pre-registers patients by conducting the patient interview to obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information. Obtains complete and accurate financial information for correct billing and to secure reimbursement.

This is a PRN, as needed position. High school diploma required; two years of college or prescribed course of study in business or healthcare field preferred. Spanish speaking preferred. CPAR (HFMA Certification) or CHAA (NAHAM Certification) preferred. CPAR, CHAA or departmental certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire. One year experience in health care environment or customer relations required.
