Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars efficiently using medical administrative support tools Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately within the electronic health record system Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members Collect and process payments or co-pays, maintaining accurate financial records Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff to facilitate seamless care delivery Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations Requirements Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and insurance verification Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working in dental offices is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive attitude that energizes the team This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare industry.
