Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Office Coordinator to lead the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. In this vital role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, coordinate clinical workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and staff supervision will drive a seamless patient experience and support the delivery of exceptional care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your comprehensive knowledge of medical administrative support, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and healthcare management to make a meaningful impact in our community. Duties Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Supervise administrative and clinical staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, billing, coding accuracy, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Coordinate with healthcare providers on practice management tasks including utilization management, managed care processes, and medical records requests Monitor clinic supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operational flow Oversee human resources functions related to staffing levels, onboarding new employees, and ensuring compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with a strong background in clinic or dental office environments Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a healthcare setting Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and billing practices Experience managing budgets, financial reports, and fiscal responsibilities within a healthcare practice Background in nursing or acute care settings is advantageous; veterinary or hospital experience is a plus Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Medical Office Coordinator to lead our team toward operational excellence!
