At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Registration Department is currently seeking a full time Registration Coordinator to deliver care that is second-to-none, in our high volume-fast paced practice. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Manage and coordinate weekly and daily staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinics Handel all staff call-ins and adjust schedules accordingly Reassign staff to different clinic locations to address staffing shortages as needed Perform patient registration duties Assist with lead audit reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy in registration processes. Collaborate with the registration Supervisor to ensure all reports are current and accurate. Review employee time clocks for accuracy and compliance. Review and process PTO requests and maintain registration time-off calendars. Conduct training for both new hires and existing staff as needed. Provide corrective coaching and retraining to address performance issues. Oversee and complete new hire onboarding checklists.
Qualifications:
Experience in front desk reception and/or patient registration within a healthcare setting. Prior experience coordinating and managing employee schedules preferred. Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Why Join PCI?
