Job Description:
  • Monday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm Registers patients promptly and directs them to the correct department.
Verifies insurance information and collects co-pays, deductibles, or outstanding balances at the time of service. Completes all TalentCare and Talent Insights assignments for direct reports using My Team. Provides excellent customer service to patients and addresses their needs. Conducts RQI follow-up and ensures compliance with required standards. Obtains and processes IM and consents from patients. Performs manual audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Shadows team members to provide support and ensure consistent practices. Acts as payroll backup and assists with payroll processing. Reviews CPA documentation for accuracy and completeness. Orders supplies necessary for the department's operations. Manages staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Internet skills. [Required]
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public. [Required]
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. [Required]
  • Ability to work and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays etc. [Required]
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to change. [Required]
  • Medical Terminology [Preferred]
  • Basic Insurance Knowledge [Preferred]
Education:
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
  • or
GED Work Experience:
  • Previous experience in a medical setting, ie.
Physician Office, Hospital, Etc. [Preferred]

      Pay Range:
