Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under the direction of Manager of Revenue Cycle, the EMR Educator will conduct regular basic, intermediate and advanced user training of system applications; assist in the development of user work knowledge through blended learning approaches, educational materials and comprehension assessments. Additionally, EMR Educator will support implementation of new providers and provider sites through training, the set-up of various system applications, and system security maintenance as well as perform process assessments, research and analysis within CBO functional areas to identify process improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational Associates degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelors degree preferred. Experience in a Health Related Field preferred. Clinical Background preferred. 1-2 years of training experience in using an Electronic Medical Record System preferred. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products required (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). 1-2 year experience in teaching, presenting and/or training and development preferred (presentation skills, instructional design basics, learning objectives, content development, etc). Personal Ability to provide leadership necessary to ensure a positive team approach, guide and coach others, and convey compliance requirements. Ability to maintain organized, detailed records and to multi-task. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in both written and oral forms. Ability to train/present to small to medium size groups, both in-person and virtually. Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
