D. & Associates, a clinical psychology practice in Naperville, has an immediate opening for part-time Intake Coordinator. This is an hourly part time, in-person job (24 hours a week), Wednesday through Friday, 8am-4pm
Role Responsibilities:
Intake Coordinator conducts initial assessments of clients to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements. This allows for clients to be assigned to mental health practitioners based on intake assessments. Being an Intake Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in the mental health field. This position will be provided training and will report to the Director of Outreach and Marketing. We are seeking a long-term team member with a desire for personal growth. We are seeking an Intake Coordinator who functions effectively within a team environment, as well as has the internal drive to complete tasks individually. This individual must be hardworking, detail-oriented, trustworthy, highly organized, and able to follow-through with deadlines and feedback. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receiving new referrals and assigning them to team members Coordination and collaboration with clinical and administrative staff Support of marketing development tasks and processes Answering the practice's emails and phone system Use medical histories and background information shared by clients to place clients in mental health services. Collect data to support and inform practices policies and services Becoming proficient in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System Work collaboratively with our billing company Attention to detail and accuracy related to administrative tasks Provide administrative support and training to therapists Exceptional communication and task management skills, as well as ability to handle confidential information with care Skills Needed Bachelors degree in related field preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in patient intake, mental health or related field required Working knowledge of insurance benefits and authorizations needed Proficient computer literacy, including Google Suites and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Experience working with and helping clients with co-occurring disorders Ability to keep client and company information confidential Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and shift priorities when needed Excellent organizational and time management skills Warm, engaging and friendly demeanor Intake coordinator will warmly engage with incoming clients and their families, via phone and email inquiries. This position requires the coordinator to be able to determine what services are needed and place them with one of our clinicians.. In addition, Intake Coordinator will.... Continually answering phone/email requests for new and established clients. obtain background information on problem(s). gather medical histories collect health insurance/financial information work collectively with our billing company to make sure necessary paperwork is received.
