• Full-time Illinois Dermatology Institute is seeking an experienced Patient Representative to join our team in Park Ridge, IL .

This is a hands-on role that requires a self-directed professional with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate is positive, proactive, organized, and patient-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting efficient clinic operations and creating an outstanding patient experience. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Schedule patient appointments Manage inbound and outbound multi-line phone communications Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information Complete insurance verification and coordinate referrals Process prior authorizations and medical record requests Conduct patient recall outreach to support continuity of care Route calls and messages to appropriate departments Accurately document patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Process and distribute incoming faxes and related documentation Qualifications & Skills Exceptional customer service and communication skills Empathetic, professional, and patient-centered approach Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Adaptable and flexible with changing priorities Proficient computer and data entry skills

Preferred Experience:
