Dental Patient Coordinator Job Type:
Full-Time Pay Range:
$20.00-$25.00/hr Position Overview The New Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring each patient receives exceptional care and treatment. This position is responsible for delivering an outstanding new patient experience: from scheduling and confirming appointments to performing patient photos, X-rays, and intraoral scans, while ensuring patient records are maintained with 100% accuracy. Essential Job Functions Manage patient records and provide office tours when onboarding new patients Take patient X-rays and photos, including facial, occlusal, and intraoral images (right, left, and lower views) Perform and assist with intraoral scans Maintain accurate and complete patient records Ensure the records area is fully stocked and organized Assist the front office team with patient check-in, check-out, and answering phone calls when needed Support opening and end-of-day responsibilities as required Essential Job Skills Communicates effectively and respectfully with doctors and team members Demonstrates reliability and responsiveness to patients and the team General knowledge and understanding of orthodontic treatment plans and patient care Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
Requirements:
Preferred Requirements:
1-2 years orthodontic assistant Dental Assistant X-Ray Certified or able to start process within 30 days of employment.
