Fishers Primary Care (Onsite) Position Overview This role supports daily patient access operations, with a focus on patient check-in/check-out, pre-registration, and managing incoming messages. The position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive patient experience while coordinating with the care team. Key Responsibilities Perform patient check-in and check-out processes Complete pre-registrations and manage patient information accurately Monitor and respond to pool messages in a timely manner Facilitate patient flow from arrival to destination efficiently and professionally Gather and verify demographic and financial information to support accurate records and reimbursement Schedule appointments High School Diploma/GED is required. Prefer relevant experience in a health care setting. Ability to learn and retain medical coding; ICD-10; CPT coding preferred. Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
