The Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) is a grant through the Indiana Department of Health which contracts UHS to be the regional coordinator office. We are the admin site for enrollment, billing and training for our regions. As of June 30, 2026, UHS will be the coordinator for both the North and Central regions. BCCP coordinates office visits, paps, mammograms and diagnostics to women through their medical providers.

July 7th or later Reports to: Regional Coordinator for the IN Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) Responsibilities
- This position supports the Breast & Cervical Cancer Program by assisting in client enrollment into & progression throughout the programs.
- Verify eligibility and determine appropriate program enrollment and referrals.
- Communicate with providers the rules and policies of breast programs.
- Responding to provider inquiry or report requests.
- Assist in running reports from our data system to find, investigate and resolve billing and data issues within BCCP.
- Work with patients in English and Spanish on resolving billing issues when patients get bills including contacting the provider billing system and documenting steps.
- Research opportunities within our state for BCCP to grow. You may present BCCP alongside the director.
- As assigned, attend outreach events promoting breast and cervical screenings or United Health Services programs. This includes packing and unpacking table & supplies. Some events may take place on the weekend or evenings.
- Assist IDOH with Central region clients as needed with language barriers.
- Interpret documents, forms, websites, etc.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent an associate's degree and higher is a plus Be able to lift at least 30 pounds and sit for at least 90 minutes. Necessary Skills, Abilities and Background Speak and write in Spanish Driver's license, travel may be up to 90 minutes around our office with mileage reimbursement. If the trip is long, you would be a passenger. Demonstrate a commitment to the agency's mission, to ensure quality client and service outcomes and to contribute to an efficient and enjoyable work environment Work cooperatively with the BCCP state employees & United Health Services' staff Maintain patient, client, & program confidentiality per the HIPAA guidelines Accurately record and maintain records in a professionally sound and orderly manner Relate comfortably, sensitively, and respectfully to consumers some of whom will have cancer diagnosis; individually & publicly facing Be comfortable engaging with the public and other providers in English & Spanish in writing, emailing and by phone. Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc) & ease of using online databases Be able to work a project with little supervision A working knowledge of healthcare system or billing and insurance is a plus Pay is hourly and will vary depending on experience. PTO starts after 90 days of employment and is based upon years of employment at UHS.
