Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Worker, LPN, or RN to join our team Monday thru Thursday. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the operation of our office environment. This position requires strong customer service skills, effective time management, proficiency in various clerical tasks. Some of the responsibilities may include assisting with patient assessments, answering medical questions, collecting laboratory specimens, administering medications, assisting with office procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. for supporting daily operations, assisting with customer check-in, customer calls, billing/coding with Athena--, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Respond to patient inquiries and provide clinical support within scope of practice. Collect laboratory specimens, process samples, and coordinate laboratory orders. Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during office procedures. Administer prescribed medications and injections while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain accurate patient documentation and support efficient clinic operations. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and visitors. When needed, help manage front desk operations, including greeting and checking-in customers, and answering phone calls. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of office and customer tasks. Experience Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accuracy in records. Experience in Medical Coding and Billing a plus. The Office uses Athena EMR. Some Phlebotomy and/or Nursing experience a plus.
