Essential Job Duties:

Patient Care Intern (PCI) aids patients with delegated tasks for direct and indirect patient care under registered nurse supervision. PCI performs assigned activities aligned with unlicensed nursing personnel functions. Responsibilities encompass helping patients with daily activities, delivering basic nursing care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. PCI interacts courteously and professionally with patients, visitors, and staff to enhance customer service.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited Associate or Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Program leading to a Registered Nurse degree. Successful completion of a minimum of the first nursing clinical course. Anticipated Graduation for the

Nursing Program:

July/Aug/Dec 2025 or May 2026. Core Nursing Courses must have passing scores, and progression in degree completion is expected to be maintained. Currently certified in Health Care Provider CPR. Proficient and accountable in computer skills, particularly related to accurate charting and data entry. Demonstrates ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
