Job Description
Overview PMG PMG + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities + Interviews the patient or his/her representative to obtain identifying and basic demographics to prep for upcoming visits + Schedules patients in their clinic and assists with scheduling them in others + Verifies insurance coverage, collects co-pays and prior balances from patients, reconciles and prepares deposits, and troubleshoots billing issues + Greets and checks in patients andles all incoming phone calls and routes to appropriate staff or initiates messages + Coordinates clinic business processes such as supply ordering, sales calls, record release, fax and mail processing + Must be able to: (1) operate a computer to accurately input and retrieve data; (2) communicate with the population served, staff, and providers utilizing age specific techniques; (3) maintain proficiency in medical terminology; (4) project a positive and helpful attitude.
