  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a Precertification Specialist/Clinical Liaison to support our patients and providers by ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations within our clinic.
Our ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to provide outstanding service to both patients and medical staff. Job Responsibilities Answer patient phone calls and direct them to the appropriate provider or department. Assist patients with prescription refills, coordinating with pharmacies and providers. Address patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, appointments, and general dermatology concerns. Act as a liaison between patients and providers, ensuring seamless communication and follow-ups. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries. Provide administrative support to the clinical team as needed. Job Requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare-related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical office setting.
