Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 07 Salary Range $17.50-27.31/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education HS Click here for more information about equivalencies: https://hr.uky.edu/employment/working-uk/equivalencies Required Related Experience 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions. Shift Primarily day shift; Monday through Friday Job Summary Answer patient phone calls regarding refill requests and other needs in Pharmacy Patient Support Services. Accurately document and route calls and faxes appropriately in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide excellent customer service and utilize problem solving skills to address patient requests and concerns within scope. Complete shipment verifications for UK Specialty pharmacy to ensure mail order deliveries were delivered accurately and timely. Escalate delayed shipments appropriately, if needed. Complete other tasks as needed to support patient care and the department.Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Strong customer service skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, team player, able to multitask, attention to detail, computer skills, problem solving, strong verbal and written communication skills. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Customer Service skills; Call center experience preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, nationally certified Pharmacy Technician.
