The ER Registrar is responsible for accurately registering patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is collected and verified while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Register patients promptly and accurately in the Emergency Department Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Obtain necessary signatures and documentation for treatment and billing Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families during stressful situations Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous registration, clerical, or healthcare experience preferred Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry systemsRequired Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and work under pressure Customer service-oriented mindset Problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAdditional Information:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday 7p-7a, This is for an ER Night Shift Registrar Full Time Position. Hours and days can vary based on the need of the hospital and department.EEOC Statement:
