Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth communication between patients, staff, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for helping others, and familiarity with medical office procedures. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care and streamline administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, creating a positive first impression. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and referral documentation. Coordinate with staff to schedule appointments and facilitate patient admissions efficiently. Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with insurance verification processes and explain admission procedures clearly to patients. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted promptly to support seamless patient intake. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a busy office setting. Experience supporting medical administrative functions such as scheduling or insurance processing is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
