    • Membership to the MGB Fitness Center Position Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) supports the multidisciplinary healthcare team in providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
    PCA assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, while promoting comfort and maintaining patient dignity. Responsibilities also include monitoring and documenting vital signs, obtaining EKGs, drawing blood, and responding promptly to patient requests while safeguarding confidentiality and always ensuring patient safety. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions
    • Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intake, and output measurements accurately and within established timeframes and/or as requested
    • Completes all required documentation in the medical record
    • Interact effectively with patients and families
    • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
    • Assist patients with turning, repositioning, and transferring between bed and wheelchair as needed
    • Listen to patient concerns and reports changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification) preferred Emergency Medical Technician
