Job Description

Job Summary Reporting to the Sr. Administrative Assistant of Imaging Services, responsible for coordinating the administrative support activities related to the daily operations of the Media Room, Reading Room, Main Radiology Reception Desk, CT/US/IR Reception Desk, MRI Concord and Mammography Breast Health Center Reception Desk. The Lead PSR manages all Patient Service Representatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required. Coursework in business, healthcare administration, medical terminology, and management strongly preferred.
Experience:
Two to three years of office support experience in a healthcare/hospital environment required. Previous supervisory experience including managing off-site staff strongly preferred. Licensure and/or
Certification:
None Required Skills:
Problem solving and quality assurance skills needed to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of department. Courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public both in person and on the phone. Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs. Committed to Service Excellence and Customer Satisfaction. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information.
