Job Description
Eye Care Specialists is a busy multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with 7 physicians and 3 locations in Norwood and Norfolk. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Receptionists to join our healthcare team. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, communicates professionally, and thrives in a busy medical office setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Greeting, registration, scheduling, data entry, and processing. Educates patients regarding benefits and collects patient payments, at point of service. Complete and accurate management of patient data in practice management system. Verify health insurances and obtain referrals. Miscellaneous administrative tasks including, but not limited to scheduling, transportation to other offices, filing, faxing, etc. Must have a clear understanding of company policies including the company manual.Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
