The Senior Specialist, Patient Access & Performance Enablement serves as a hands-on subject matter expert responsible for optimizing patient access, navigation workflows, and performance enablement across specialty pharmacy and infusion services. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously improving access processes that reduce barriers to therapy, accelerate speed to treatment, and enhance the overall patient experience. Working within a matrixed environment, the role partners closely with clinical, operational, and program leadership to standardize workflows, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and leverage data and digital tools to drive measurable performance improvements. The position translates strategy into execution by developing scalable, practical solutions that improve operational efficiency, patient access, and outcomes across diverse care settings. Responsibilities Optimize patient access and navigation workflows across specialty pharmacy and infusion services to reduce barriers and improve speed to therapy Design, implement, and continuously improve standardized processes that enhance patient experience and operational efficiency Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and program leadership to align workflows and drive execution in a matrixed environment Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure access, throughput, and patient outcomes Leverage data, reporting tools, and digital solutions to identify gaps and drive performance improvement initiatives Support specialty pharmacy accreditation efforts, ensuring alignment with URAC and ACHC standards, audit readiness, and compliant documentation practices Translate strategic priorities into scalable, execution-ready solutions across multiple client and care delivery settings Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, process redesign, and best practice standardization
Qualifications Required:
3-5+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, or patient access program operations Demonstrated experience with URAC and ACHC specialty pharmacy accreditation standards and survey readiness Experience optimizing patient access, prior authorization, and reimbursement workflows Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive operational and performance improvements Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment and execute on strategic initiatives
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or Pharmacy education, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with specialty pharmacy data platforms, reporting tools, or digital enablement solutions Knowledge of payer requirements, HUB services, and patient support models Experience supporting multi-site or client-based specialty pharmacy programs Anticipated salary range: $68,500 - $88,020 Bonus eligible:
