Billing and Patient Account Representative

Billing and Patient Account Representatives are responsible for performing a variety of billing, collection, and patient account management duties as part of a cohesive Billing Office Team. Our staff is cross trained to handle all aspects of registration, charge entry, billing, and collections as well as other administrative tasks so we are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person that is interested in providing the best possible service and support to our patients. Full vaccination required including annual Flu vaccine.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Experience in the healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures Experience in Medical billing and coding Experience in Patient billing and collections Ability to maintain confidentiality; Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft products. Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands daily Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
