Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
  • Assist with patient examinations and procedures as directed by healthcare providers
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and documentation
  • Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient information
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Assist with patient education on healthcare topics, including medication instructions and post-procedure care
Requirements:
  • Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in medication administration techniques
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing patient care
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Team player, scheduling appointments, phone triage, EPIC EHR, maintain compass percentage, scanning documents, prescription refills, sterilizing instruments, EKG.
  • Stocking exam rooms and making sure equipment is readily available and keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Must be detailed orientated and record keeping.
  • Excellent attendance records required.
