Medical Assistant/ Office staff

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests/phlebotomy as needed
• Checking-out patients, and scheduling follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred but not required
• Previous experience working in a medical office preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems EPIC is ideal; will train
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Looking for both Full time and part time; office hours are Monday
