WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
As a Patient Service Representative, you are often the first and last person our patients interact with during their visit . Your professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail help create an exceptional patient experience during what can often be a stressful time in a patient's life.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Welcome and check in patients Verify insurance and demographic information Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care Collect co-pays and process payments accurately Maintain patient records in the electronic health record system Provide appointment reminders Answer patient questions and provide exceptional customer service
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Passion for helping others and creating positive patient experiences Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detai l and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable , and team-oriented Comfortable learning healthcare technology systems Prior healthcare experience preferred but not required High school diploma or GED required
