Job Description

Patient Registration Clerk Schedule and register all patients for planned hospital services. Obtain pre-certification and verification of benefits on all scheduled patient services.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year healthcare registration preferred
  • Experience in certification/verification of insurance preferred
  • Strong communication skills, verbal, written and visual
  • Demonstrated clerical skills including telephone, filing, customer services, office equipment and data input
  • Strong organizational skills including independent problem resolution and establish priorities
  • Basic Medical Terminology preferred or competent within three months of employment
  • Ability to obtain certification within Access Management within one year preferred
