In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them seamlessly through their dental care journey. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure patients feel welcomed, informed, and confident about their treatment plans. You'll coordinate appointments, explain procedures, verify insurance coverage, and support patients in understanding their financial options—all while maintaining a positive and professional environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient experiences and contribute to a thriving dental practice. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with scheduling appointments, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Explain treatment plans clearly, answering patient questions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and communicate coverage details effectively to patients. Coordinate with dental providers to schedule procedures efficiently while managing the practice's appointment calendar. Support administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) and updating patient information regularly. Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and financial options available for their dental needs. Ensure compliance with health regulation policies and maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with legal standards. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of health insurance policies, billing procedures, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations to accurately communicate treatment details. Proven ability to support medical administrative functions efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Office experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities. Knowledge of dental office workflows and experience with EMR/EHR platforms is a significant advantage.
