OB/GYN Full Time/PRN:
Full Time, Mon-Fri 8a-5p Job Summary The Patient Experience Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through accurate patient registration and front desk operations across all South Central OB/GYN clinic locations. This role includes obtaining documentation, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate patient records while interacting with patients in person and by phone. The position may require rotation between clinic locations based on operational needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Schedule appointments in person and by phone; Register, check-in, and check-out patients; Verify and update demographics in Cerner; Verify insurance and obtain copies of insurance cards; Obtain photo identification; Collect copays, OB deposits, surgical deposits, and outstanding balances; Post charges and payments accurately; Maintain and balance daily cash drawer; Answer incoming calls and provide assistance; Perform reminder calls; Obtain required patient forms; Scan and fax medical records; Maintain organized work environment; Collaborate with team members; Maintain HIPAA compliance; Follow organizational policies; Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions; Basic computer skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Work Location Assignment This position supports all South Central OB/GYN clinic locations. A primary location will be assigned; however, employees are expected to rotate between clinics as needed based on operational demands and direction from the Clinic Manager. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
