City Meridian State ID Category Admin/Clerical/Customer Support Description & Requirements The Patient Access Specialist 4 is responsible for responding to patient, provider, and department/ser vice area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, complex scheduling, referral coordination, benefit verification, preauthorizati on, order transcription and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public. This subject matter expert is also responsible to serve as a role model and resource to coworkers.Shift Details:
Wednesday 10am-6:30pm, Thursday 6am-6:30pm, Friday 6am-6:30pm, Saturday 7:30am-4pm What you can expect from this role:- Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients
- Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including a uthorizations, verifications, and estimates
- Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows
- Serves as a role model, mentor, trainer and/or resource to coworkers
- Other duties as assigned Minimum qualifications for this role:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience:
