Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support front-end patient collections and daily clinic operations. This role focuses on ensuring patient balances, co-pays, and deductibles are addressed prior to services whenever possible, while also providing essential clinic support. This position is flexible and offers room for growth as the clinic expands and based on individual strengths. Key Responsibilities
  • Review and collect patient balances, co-pays, and deductibles prior to services/procedures
  • Gather and organize information for pre-procedure collections at Baptist
  • Work closely with the billing team to ensure accuracy and timely completion
  • Answer phones and assist patients professionally
  • Handle paperwork and support daily clinic operations
  • Assist staff as needed to maintain efficient clinic flow Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical office or front-desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable and adaptable
  • Must be able to multi-task, possess decision-making skills
  • Verifiable history of punctuality, solid job performance and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to pass background check and periodic drug screen Maintains a positive attitude towards patient care Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the facility Performs within the guidelines of HIPAA
