Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Service Representative, where your energetic and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations and a welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced medical setting, supporting both patient care and office functions. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive Verify patient information, update records, and schedule appointments using medical office software Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing calls to appropriate staff members Collect and process insurance information, co-pays, and other payments accurately and efficiently Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times Support medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely appointment scheduling Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the team Proven ability to support medical administrative functions with accuracy and professionalism Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare field.
