Job Description Join the Team at Bridger Orthopedic - Now Hiring a Patient Service Specialist! Bridger Orthopedic is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you'll play a vital part in coordinating patient care from start to finish—whether that is checking a patient in, scheduling certain appointments, and supporting a smooth, positive experience for every patient. With three convenient locations, we offer flexibility in finding the right fit for both your interests and our team's needs. Ideal candidates will have empathy, be detail oriented, eager to learn, and be excited to be part of our established and growing Orthopedic practice. YOU will guide our patients by: Discussing and understanding patient problems/needs; Facilitating patient care; Scheduling with best suited providers; Coordinating care with clinical operations staff; Directing authorization, medical records, and billing questions; and All around excellent customer service.

Education:

Required:

High School Diploma Preferred:

1-year medical office experience; 1-year customer service

Personal Attributes:

Often, you will be the first point of contact with our patients. Successful Patient Services Specialists will be good listeners and have great written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills are necessary for documentation in our Electronic Medical Records software. And the ability to multitask while also participating as a team player is a must. Experience in customer service (healthcare or other industry) is preferred.
