This energetic position requires a proactive approach to managing patient information, coordinating appointments, and supporting clinical staff. Duties Greet clients warmly and gather necessary personal and medical information during initial contact Schedule appointments efficiently, confirming details with patients and providers Verify insurance coverage and assist with preliminary billing inquiries Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Communicate effectively with administrative and clinical staff to relay patient needs and appointment updates Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly to ensure excellent customer service Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing documentation for clinical teams Requirements Prior experience working in a mental health and community environment is highly preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient information Proven ability to support medical administrative functions with efficiency and professionalism Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in record keeping Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality Familiarity with office software, electronic health records (EHR), or practice management systems Experience in a dental office setting is a plus but not required Must be very knowledgeable of Charlotte NC, and extremely comfortable in all environments throughout the city.
