Since 2018, we have nearly doubled in size and are actively expanding throughout the region. As Quality DME has grown, we work to maintain the two founding principles within the company: facilitate employee development and provide superior client satisfaction. We strive to ensure experience to our staff for the achievement of their ambitions and to build lasting careers while providing our clients the best possible outcomes. The Patient Care Specialist within the Resupply Department is the entry point to such growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Process medical equipment supply orders using Electronic Medical Database Software
  • Answer and respond to patient phone calls
  • Submit authorizations for equipment as needed
  • Utilize inter-and-cross-departmental communication to maintain goals and objectives
  • Reach out to patients as requested by physicians
Expectations:
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
  • Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal
  • Handle protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) This is a full-time position in our office, Monday through Friday, 8:30am- 5:30pm.
