Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for obtaining correct patient information. Obtains signatures and scans all documents into computer. Good communication skills to relay information to patients, physicians, and staff. Minimum Requirements:
Two to three years in a hospital registration department or medical office setting required. Bookkeeping, computer use, and office machine knowledge. Selected candidate must obtain CPAT (Certified Patient Account Technician) within 18 months of employment. Type 45 words per minute. High school diploma required, Associate's degree in Medical Office Technology, Business Administration, or related strongly preferred.
