Job Description

Patient Services Representative Bryan Health United States, Nebraska, Kearney 804 22nd Avenue (Show on map) Mar 05, 2026 Responsible for interviewing patients to gather all pertinent account information, gather up to date demographics, and verify insurance coverage. They are responsible for ensuring that all required patient signatures are present for treatment, medical records and insurance processing. They ensure that all necessary documentation is presented to patients, making them aware of all hospital policies and procedures that relate to the admission process and treatment. Will assist and help over-see the day-to-day operations of all business office staff in the hospital setting. Works closely with the Business Office Supervisor to provider leadership to all business office team members. Helps assist with coordinating business office coverage in the hospital and personally aids where needed. The listing of job duties contained in this job description is not all inclusive. Regulatory Requirements:
Knowledge of computerized office systems; knowledge of reading/writing/math/proper grammar/spelling, which is normally required through the completion of a high school education or equivalent. Organize/prioritize work; to work in an environment with patient populations of acute, chronic, and complex disease processes; to follow written and oral instructions; to detect, resolve, and correct problems; to react and perform in stressful and emergency situations. Any combinations of training and/or experience that will allow the individual to meet the requirements noted above and perform the duties.
