Job Description

Join Our Team at Nebraska Surgery Center Nebraska Surgery Center is seeking dynamic, dedicated, and patient-focused professionals to join our team and be part of an exciting, fast-paced environment. Our center specializes in a wide range of surgical services, including Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Dental, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neurology, and ENT.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday 80 hours per pay period (two weeks) 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Register and enroll patients prior to surgery, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information Collect patient financial responsibilities and provide assistance and direction to patients and their families Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner at all times Review insurance information and communicate any discrepancies to appropriate personnel Obtain all necessary registration and consent forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness Answer multi-line phone systems and route calls/messages accurately and efficiently Assemble and verify completion of patient charts High school diploma or GED required Previous inpatient, outpatient, or hospital registration experience preferred BLS certification required within 90 days of hire Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with computers and excellent attention to detail Benefits Nebraska Surgery Center offers a competitive benefits package, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with company match Short- and long-term disability coverage Access to a 24/7 Wellness Center
