About the
Role:
The Patient Access Specialist serves as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and financial clearance. This role supports a positive patient experience while promoting compliance, data accuracy, and efficient revenue cycle processes. To show effective customer service by committing to creating positive, trust-based experiences by actively listening to customer needs, communicating clearly and respectfully, and responding with urgency and accountability.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Customerservicefocused with a professional and empathetic demeanor. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced healthcare environment.

Strong problemsolving and conflictresolution abilities. Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in person and via phone in a professional, courteous manner.

Complete accurate patient registration, demographic updates, and intake documentation.

Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, referrals, and authorization requirements.

Collect copayments, deductibles, and other patient financial responsibilities in accordance with policy.

A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
