Job Description

Insurance Authorizations/Patient Registration & Scheduling for our Diabetes & Nutrition & Speech departments- part of our Rehab office at 49 South Main Street, Concord NH Summary The Insurance Authorization Assistant works under the direction of the Director and/or Office Manager. They oversee all patient registrations and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Updates the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Cerner billing systems; performs administrative review of each account, reads referrals, and schedules patients. Is a resource to all staff members in regards to the initial scheduling, insurance authorization and processing of patients. Education High school or equivalent (GED). Experience At least one year experience working in the medical field or equivalent combination of continuing education and experience is preferred. Ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi disciplinary team of staff, patients, and others. Concord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
