$20/hour Position Overview You'll be working in a healthcare administrative environment supporting patient services and medical documentation processing. This role is a mix of clerical support, patient access, and customer service, ensuring accurate handling of medical records and documentation in a fast-paced setting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into healthcare administration or grow within patient access and medical operations. What You'll Be Doing- Medical documentation:
- Process and fulfill requests for medical records, EOBs, UB-92 forms, and itemized statements
- Clerical support:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, indexing, and organizing documents
- Mail handling:
- Sort, track, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Claims & records processing:
- Work with claims from multiple sources and manage electronic files and work queues
- Customer service:
- Support internal teams and external partners by providing accurate and timely information
- Accuracy matters:
- Maintain detailed records and ensure all documentation is processed correctly and efficiently Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
- High school diploma
- Previous administrative or office support experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and research information when needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with EPIC system
- Healthcare or patient access experience
- Strong customer service background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Data entry and 10-key experience Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday (full-time)
- Shift starts between 6:30 AM
- 7:30 AM
