Job Description
Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Assistant to work in the Brain Injury unit at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
Conduct and document comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations. Order, perform, and interpret laboratory results and diagnostic studies to formulate accurate diagnoses.Clinical Management & Treatment:
Develop and manage treatment plans for a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Attending, adhering to all New Jersey state regulations.Collaboration & Advocacy:
Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Serve as a dedicated clinical resource and passionate advocate for patients and their families.Patient & Family Education:
Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and effective health education to empower patients and their families throughout the care journey.Position Highlights:

This full-time inpatient role features a consistent Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule—no nights or weekends required.REQUIREMENTS
PA Certification:
Must hold an active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential.Education:
Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.Licensure:
Must possess an active and unrestricted New Jersey state license as a Physician Assistant.Experience:
Open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.COMPENSATION
Minimum Starting Base Salary:

Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.Budget and Grant Funding:
Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
