Job Description

As an Intake Coordinator you will be responsible for fielding direct calls from the community regarding services, assessing needs and providing the most appropriate internal and external resources to consumers. In addition, you will be responsible for working with an internal team of professionals to engage community organizations and resources in order to promote agency services. Duties & Responsibilities Engages new consumers in a positive manner Accepts incoming phone calls and walk-in requests for agency services or other assistance Documents work efforts in established Electronics Health Record Provides linkages to a broad offering community social service Explain service programs in group and 1:1 basis to consumers and community stakeholders Coordinates with program supervisors to distribute appropriate referrals to programs Works collaboratively with internal marketing team Facilitates participant liaison activities, coordinate outreach and agency special events Attends team, scheduled supervision sessions, in service training workshops and staff meetings according to agency and program schedules.
Position Requirements Education/Experience:
Bachelors in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counseling, Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred. Valid Driver's License Required JFS encourages and supports staff pursuing clinical licensing by providing FREE on-the-job Clinical Supervision Program to staff looking to obtain their LCSW license.
