Job Description:

Assists the Director of Medical Compliance/Medical Scheduler with ensuring compliance with medical appointments, medications, and other medical needs of clients through auditing of Agency calendars and EHR systems, and on-site reviews and staff training.

Essential Duties:

Assist with ensuring optimal physical/mental health through daily monitoring of medical/psychiatric appointments, monitoring medication supply and administering medication, following prescribed diets, and treatment/behavior plans. Assist with monitoring medical appointments utilizing electronic health record and calendars and ensure proper staffing for medical appointments. Conducts routine audits on medication administration. Assist with providing training for medical appointments, including preparation for the appointment and follow up to the appointment. Assist in the coordination of medications through electronic health records and on-site audits in accordance with medical appointments. Assist in training for medication administration for Agency personnel, as well as competency assessment at hire and annually thereafter. Provide safe transportation to and from scheduled appointments. Monitor individual's daily activity through documentation in progress notes, T-Log, and verbal communication with supervisors and co-workers. #IND-1
