Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Registration team member to support front-end patient access operations in an OUTDOOR healthcare setting. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, coordinating appointments, and ensuring accurate registration and insurance information in a healthcare setting. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for patients while maintaining organized and compliant intake processes.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients courteously and guide them through registration and check-in procedures.
- Collect, review, and update demographic, contact, and coverage details to maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations while helping patients understand next steps.
- Verify medical insurance information and confirm eligibility before services are provided.
- Answer patient questions related to registration, scheduling, and required documentation in a clear and courteous manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow established healthcare office policies and procedures.
- Work with clinical and administrative staff to resolve registration issues and support smooth patient flow.
