Job Description

MA Care Partners Intake Representative Location Carson City, NV Position Summary The MA Care Partners Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic and plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and organized experience. This position is responsible for greeting patients, completing intake and registration tasks, verifying insurance and identification, collecting required paperwork, and assisting with scheduling and general administrative duties. This role offers opportunities for growth and cross-training into additional healthcare operations, including medical records, chart preparation, documentation support, and other administrative responsibilities within the MA Care Partners program. Primary Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Verify patient demographics, insurance, and identification Collect and scan required paperwork and forms Complete intake questionnaires and update patient information Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Assist with general office organization and administrative tasks Growth Opportunities As experience is gained, this role may expand to include: Medical records management Chart preparation and chart audits Empanelment support Documentation and reporting Referral coordination Additional administrative and operational duties Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required Previous medical office, reception, or customer service experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment Why Join MA Care Partners? $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
