Director, Patient Financial Services UNLV Medicine - 2.4 Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time $103,020 - $128,657 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Microsoft Word Report preparation Writing skills Bachelor's degree Medical terminology Full Job Description The Patient Financial Services (PFS) Director is responsible and accountable for the strategic planning, leadership and ongoing continuous quality and process improvement of Patient Financial Services for UNLV Medicine. This position will provide direct oversight and ensure optimal coordination of the following components: accounts receivable management, coding, billing, collections, denials management and vendor management. The PFS Director will ensure that the capture, coding, billing and collection of practice revenue is accurate, efficient, within all compliance guidelines and timely. The PFS Director will ensure payor contracts and payor reimbursements are optimized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (Actual hours may vary depending on business need) 12 Full-Day and 2 Half-Day Paid Holidays per year, starting with your first day of employment 22 PTO days per year! (Depending on Position) 3% 401K Contribution, even if you do not contribute Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits that start the first of the month following your start date Pay may be higher than stated range, based on years of experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field required Master's Degree Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience with three of these years in the related area for the position. Coding certification required;
CPC, CCS.
Must possess the following skills: Above Average Verbal, Writing/Composing, Correspondence/Reports, Analytical, Design, Medical Terminology, MS Word, and MS Excel.
