In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking home health services, coordinating initial assessments, scheduling, and documentation to ensure seamless patient onboarding. Your energetic approach will help facilitate efficient communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, setting the foundation for quality care delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for new patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication about available home health services Gather and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and referral documentation Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule initial assessments and ensure timely intake processes Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth transitions from referral to service initiation Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, appointment scheduling, and document management Support the billing and insurance authorization processes by providing necessary documentation and follow-up Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative support role preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical recordkeeping practices Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Office experience demonstrating proficiency in computer systems and data entry applications Experience in a dental or home health office is a plus but not required Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Join us in delivering compassionate, efficient care from the very first point of contact!
